How to generate a payment link?
FedaPay allows you to receive online payments even without a website. With the payment link option, you can create a unique link and share it with your client, who can then make their payment securely.
This guide provides a step-by-step explanation on how to generate a payment link directly from your FedaPay dashboard.
Steps to Generate a Payment Link
1-Access Your Account
Log in to your FedaPay dashboard at FedaPay.com.
Ensure that your account is verified and ready to receive payments.
2-Create a Client
Before generating a payment link, you need to add the client who will make the transaction.
➤ How to Add a Client?
From the dashboard, go to "Clients".
Click on "Create a Client".
Enter the following information:
First and last name (mandatory)
Email address (mandatory, unique for each client)
Phone number (optional)Click "Save".
Note: The email address is used as the client's unique identifier.
3-Create a Transaction for the Client
Once the client is added, you must create a transaction linked to them.

Go to "Transactions" in the main menu.
Click on "Create a Transaction".
Enter the following details:
Payment amount (in the chosen currency)
Associated client (select the one you just added)
Return link (optional) (redirects the client after payment)
Description (e.g., "Invoice Payment", "Initial Deposit", etc.)Click "Save" to finalize the transaction.
4-Generate a Payment Link
Once the transaction is created, you can now obtain and share a secure payment link.
➤ How to Generate and Share a Payment Link?
In the "Transactions" section, locate the created transaction.
Click on "Details".
In the options, select "Generate a secure payment Link".
Copy the link and send it to the client via:
Email (directly via FedaPay)
WhatsApp, SMS, or social media (by manually copying the link)
Note: This link is unique and secure, ensuring that the transaction was created through FedaPay. Any link generated outside the system will be invalid.
Payment Link Validity and Transaction Tracking
Link Validity: The payment link remains active for 24 hours.
Transaction Tracking: You can check the payment status under "Transactions" in the dashboard.
In Case of a Failed or Expired Payment: You can generate a new link and resend it to your client.
