Tracking transactions is essential for verifying received payments, resolving disputes, and ensuring smooth operations. FedaPay offers several methods to quickly locate a transaction.
Each transaction has a unique identifier (ID). If you have this ID:
Log in to your FedaPay dashboard at fedapay.com.
Go to "Transactions" in the sidebar menu.
Enter the transaction ID in the search bar and confirm.
You can search for a transaction based on its status:
Approved: Payment successful and validated.
Pending: Payment being processed/default status upon creation.
Failed or Canceled: Insufficient funds or other payment issue.
Declined: Intentional or accidental interruption by the customer.
Refunded: Amount returned to the customer.
Transferred: Amount transferred to the merchant account.
How to Use This Filter?
Go to "Transactions".
Use the filters to display transactions based on a specific status.
If you don’t know the exact transaction ID, you can search by date range:
In "Transactions", use the "Date" filter.
Select the desired period (e.g., last week, last month).
Click Confirm to display all transactions within that timeframe.
The payment is pending or has disappeared? → Check if the payment was blocked by the operator or bank.
The client claims to have paid, but the transaction is missing? → Ask them for proof of debit (SMS, bank receipt).
Unable to find a transaction? → Contact support with:
The transaction ID (if available).
The amount and date of the payment.
The payment method used (Mobile Money, bank card).
